Claims this upcoming art show that paints the mantra of perfection in different perspectives

"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away," said French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Reaffirming the adage will be a group showu00a0- Ode to Perfectionu00a0that hits the capital this Thursday. Here's a curtainraiser.

Recession's perfection mantra: Ode to Perfection

Desi strokes

From Baroda to Mumbai, Delhi to down south, 29 artists will be displaying their creations. The celebrated list of artists includes Anuj Kumar Poddar, Rahul Mukherjee, TM Azees, Kamar Alam, sculptor Loknath Sinha, Mousumi Biswas, Saptrishi, Sunil Mamdapur, Kisan Duriseti and Uday Mondal amongst others. All the participating are trying to interpret the word 'perfection' in their own creative form to create masterpieces that would strike a chord with the art enthusiasts.

Recession, what?

The presenter of the show Niten Mehta emphasises that every creation here is worth its salt. "We will be hosting such numbers that would persuade art lovers to buy them instantly in spite of the economic slump off-putting their willingness to pay," he chuckles. Confident, we say.
