A few leaders from Muslim and Hindu organisations condemned the Special Cell of Delhi police for its terror-related arrests and detention of a few youths from city as well as other parts of the state.

They accused the Special Cell of deliberately targeting the Muslim community and levelling false charges against the suspects.u00a0

"The Special Cell fabricated a case and implicated several youth from Pune, Aurangabad, Nanded and Latur. To protest the recent arrests in the JM Road blasts case by the Delhi police, we will be launching a nationwide agitation against the illegitimate action initiated by the cell," said Anjum Inamdar of Kul Jamati Tanjim.

Inamdar alleged that three days before the Delhi police officials' detection of the blasts case, the ATS had claimed to solve the case in the next three to four days as they had identified the culprits. But the Delhi police officials took a press conference and declared that the case was solved, without keeping the ATS and the city police in the loop.

Bharat Mukti Morcha President Ramesh Rakshe said there were several incidents in which several people were arrested for their alleged involvement in acts of terrorism, but were later released by the court after eight to 10 years of trail.

"Though they got justice, but their lives have been ruined to a great extent," said Rakshe.u00a0
