The Delhi Police Crime Branch questioned SP MP Rewati Raman and BJP MP Ashok Argal in connection with the cash for vote scam on Monday. Both MPs, who were questioned for 90 minutes each, gave statements against each other.u00a0

"Rewati blamed Argal for the scam. He said Argal and other MPs told him they all wanted to join SP," said a source close to the investigation.u00a0
Argal, on the other hand, denied all charges and said he did not approach Rewati. He said it was Rewati who met him, asked him to join SP and offered money for the trust vote. He said Rewati will have to explain what he was doing at his house on the intervening night of July 21 and 22. As of now, five people have been interrogated in this regard.
