Followers of 2008 IPL champion Rajasthan Royals will have anytime, anywhere access to their team through a new mobile community
Fans of Rajasthan Royals, the champions of Indian Premier League, 2008 couldn't have asked for more. After Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty bought stake in the team this year, the Royals has now launched a mobile community platform to come closer to its fans.
Now, Royals' fans will be able to receive team updates, including messages from players and coaches. They can ask questions, submit suggestions and wish their favourite players as well as discuss and debate with other members of the community. They can participate in quizzes and contests and win interesting prizes as well.
Fans will now have anytime, anywhere access to their team through this community. "By becoming a member of the Royals' community, our fans will gain complete access to the team and will be treated to exclusive information. It is yet another initiative from our side to bring our fans and the team closer," said Chief Marketing Officer of Rajasthan Royals Raghu Iyer.
The service, launched in association with mobile community platform SMS GupShup, also offers team-related mobile downloads, including ring tones and wallpapers.
