Marvel at Arundhati Nag's brilliant acting as she dons the role of Manjula in the Hindi play Bikhre Bimb directed by Girish Karnad.u00a0 Manjula's character achieves success only when she writes an English novel. However, she is not really happy because deep down she feels that she has betrayed her heritage. The play explores the now-familiar debate between Vernacular writing and Indian writing in English.
