The Delhi High Court Friday granted anticipatory bail to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in two cases connected to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.


The Delhi High Court Friday granted anticipatory bail to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in two cases connected to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Justice AK Pathak granted anticipatory bail to Sajjan Kumar and six others on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a chargesheet against Sajjan Kumar and others in two cases for allegedly instigating mobs after the assassination of then prime minister Indira Gandhi October 31, 1984.
