Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today warned of initiating civil and criminal proceedings against India Against Corruption (IAC) leader Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly defaming her.
"The notice regarding legal action comes in the light of derogatory remarks by Shri Kejriwal, meant to maliciously defame the chief minister and thus all those working in close proximity with her," Pawan Khera, political secretary to the chief minister, said.
Dikshit has given Kejriwal two days to respond to the legal notice.
