Shooting of E Sanje at Victoria Hospital continued for almost 12 hours, disturbing doctors, patients and attendants
Kannada film E Sanje was being shot near the neurosurgery ward on the second floor of the new building.u00a0 This is above the intensive care unit.
The E Sanje team had sought permission to shoot at the hospital but the permission letter did not mention a time.u00a0
"They started shooting at 12 noon and went on till 11.30 pm. Though there was no time mentioned in the letter, you should understand that you cannot go on shooting till late night. There was a lot of noise and patients were getting disturbed," said Dr B Ramesh, the casualty incharge on Monday night.
5 minutes stretch
The doctor sent security personnel and asked the crew to stop shooting.
"But they did not stop. They kept saying 'five minutes' and continued shooting. We finally called the police.
When the cops asked them to stop shooting, they packed up," he said.
Attendants of patients said they too had objected to the shooting and complained to the doctors.
"There were at least 50 people in the passage, shooting. They restricted our movements and disturbed the patients," said an attendant.
The film stars actors Sanjana of Ganda Hendati and Boyfriend fame and actor Arya.
