Another must-watch is Silencer, a short film with a strange format of two men, one waiting to kill the other for having an affair with his wife. The theme for this show is celebration and there will be floral decorations, wine and cheese as well.u00a0

Cyrus Dastur, the founder of Shamiana, states that the club has become an integral part of the city's culture and has done its bit to raise awareness about the format. "The club's motto is to entertain people with an excellent body of cinema. We have showcased everything from thrillers to comedy, without any vulgarity. Yet, we still have miles to go ahead," he stated.

Shamiana is also a platform for fresh talent to showcase their potential before the world. "Its about people who have a passion for good films that last for a maximum of 15 minutes. But it has to be intelligent in content, so that it lasts forever in somebody's mind," he concludes.
