21 others had been expelled by the administration on September 14 after it was discovered that they had gained admission using forged documents
Making it look like a sequel to an episode, six more students of Ramjas College of Delhi University have been found to have taken admission on the basis of forged documents this year. A notice put up on the college notice-board on Monday, gave out names of the six students, undersigned by the principal. This is the second phase of the check undertaken by the college authorities after, not even a month ago, on September 14, the college had expelled 21 students for using phoney marksheets for securing admission.

False claims
The other six caught on Monday include four from Economics (H), one from BA (P) and B Com (P) each. Out of those expelled in September, a major chunk was from the Commerce stream since the cut-offs for the subject had sky-rocketed in 2011. Incidentally, one of the six, Mukul Malhotra, happens to be a second-year student from B Com Pass course. Mukul has been charged for forging documents as well as allegedly helping candidates, seeking admission this year, in making fake marksheets.

Shown the door
"Admissions of six students have been cancelled today with immediate effect. The notice was put up in the morning itself so that none of them could attend classes for the day. Second-year student Mukul Malhotra has been charged for helping new candidates forge marksheets," said Prof P K Malhotra, admissions convenor for 2011.
"We will be undertaking an enquiry into the second and third-year records as well, following this. These students will not be able to secure admission elsewhere as well for the time-being as their original documents like birth certificates etc are with the college," he added.u00a0
