The much-awaited Slumdog Millionaire premier at PVR on late Thursday night was packed with the city's socialites, theatre artists, Kannada film stars and honchos of the hotel industry. Kalyan, CEO Kalamandir had invited Girish Karnad and Kannada film stars of the likes of Sunil Raoh, Ganesh, Bhawna and others. We also saw the general managers and directors of city's five-star hotels besides socialites and big wigs like Nafees Fazal, Harinder Singh, Mohan Kumar. The movie, which went past midnight, though hard-hitting and brilliantly conceived, was applauded by all. The film inspired by a Brazilian flick, 'God is Great' rakes in all five stars.
