Snag in overhead equipment at Dadar leads to delays, cancellations of trains

Power-related problem between Matunga and Dadar stations affects train services inconveniencing commuters.


Due to a technical snag in the overhead equipment at Dadar, there was no power supply between Matunga and Dadar stations from 5.10 pm to 5.35 pm today. The problem was on the CST-bound fast line.

As a result, a CST-bound train from Badlapur was held up near Dadar and 5 locals behind it were delayed.

3 locals were diverted between Vikhroli and CST and 6 locals were cancelled due to this incident, causing inconvenience to commuters. Power was restored at 5.35 pm.

Trains on the route are now running normally.u00a0
