While 71 countries will participate in the Commonwealth Games to be held in various stadia in the city. The renewed security concerns over the sporting events came following a speech by Hafiz Abdur Rahman Makki, leader of terror outfit amalgam Jamaat-ul-Dawah, in which he named Pune, Delhi and Kanpur as "fair targets" of jehadis.
