A 27-year-old software engineer committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in Saket area of south district on Wednesday night.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Rana Kumar Singh, a native of Saharsa in Bihar. "He was found hanging in his rented accommodation in Lado Sarai area by one of his friends. He was rushed to AIIMS trauma centre where he was declared brought dead," said a police officer.u00a0
u00a0The officer said that Rana was working as a graphic designer in a private company in Gurgaon. "His was to get married on May 20. A suicide note was recovered from his possession in which he had written that nobody should be held responsible for his extreme step. He was under the pressure due to his job and was not ready to marry," added the officer.
