Lavanya M, a housewife from Rajajinagar, was rushed to Victoria Hospital, around 11 pm yesterday after she accidentally spilled boiling milk on her left arm and body.
According to her husband Mahesh (35), Lavanya was in their kitchen boiling milk for their 10-year-old daughter when she burnt herself.
"I was asleep when this happened. The injuries were more serious because of the nylon dress that she was wearing. But I am happy that she wasn't badly injured," said Mahesh.
According to a staff nurse at Victoria Hospital, Lavanya is expected to make a full recovery and will be back home in a couple of days.
