American Express Bakery, Bandra:This may be one of the oldest bakeries in Bandra, but these guys need to get a grip on customer relations. We dropped in on Tuesday to pick up two Chicken Seekh Rolls (Rs 20 each), asked if they were fresh, and were told they were. When we got home, one bite and we knew they were a day-old. The bread crumbled and the filling didn't taste fresh. We took it back to inform the bakery about it, and the treatment dished out left a worse taste in our mouth than the stale bread did. Unwilling to accept a customer's feedback, they told us "to go do what you want!" A buy-at-your-own-risk signboard is in order, we say.
