A 30-year-old resident of Andheri East in Mumbai was arrested for stalking and threatening a girl, after she turned down his marriage proposal.
The accused, Mahindra Dhawalay, works as general manager for Human Resources at Glenmark Generics Ltd, a Europe-based company.
The complainant, Priyanka (name changed), is a resident of Paschim Vihar area of New Delhi and works for a multinational company.
"An FIR was lodged on July 15 and the accused was arrested under the Information Technology Act," said a police official.
