Another set of paintings present is by Shail Choyal, who belongs to the second generation of artists. His paintings focus on the landscapes of Rajasthan. In the 70s and 80s, he based his style on Rajasthan miniatures.
His paintings use colours that are chromatic, full of contrast, trying to create a happy atmosphere.
The 3D paintings and the acrylic on fibreglass are his son Akash, whose works are seen in the three odd looking bodies of men with a holographic feeling. His idea of painting is to let himself free and then experience the thoughts later. His paintings depict the search for life combined with humour.
We like: The paintings with cows and a blue figure playing the flute, which are absolutely stunning for their simplicity. This is the result of him being influenced by the temple town of Sri Nathdwara.
