The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for the first time has changed the exam centre of a student who was appearing directly for her board exams. The switch was made yesterday, following a complaint by the girl student to the board that she was being threatened at the centre she had been allotted.u00a0 Shahaji Dhekne, secretary, MSBSHSE, said, "The girl, who is appearing directly for the board exams had her centre at Karanveer Bhaurao Patil Vidyalaya, Dhankawadi, and approached us with some activist. According to her, during the last paper, one of the answer sheets was missing and the invigilator had asked her if she had done something with the paper. She mentions that because she is appearing directly, the invigilator is targeting her. She feels threatened while giving her examination and so we changed it."He mentioned that they believe the teacher must have enquired about the paper to each child but the girl must have become worried.u00a0 The board decided to change her centre to Bankar Vidyalaya. Dhekne mentioned that once the examination gets over, the board will form a committee and investigate how the answer sheet went missing.
