If breakfast's your favourite meal, then head to this new all-day brekkie cafe to kickstart your day proper, no matter what the hourFor those who frequent Koramangala and its many bylanes, finding this tiny hole in the wall cafe is not such a big deal.
And that's what it's named too, and quite aptly enough. You can find a blackboard menu placed on the side of the road of Hole in the Wall Cafe, a block of white garage like space, an all-day breakfast joint, when you walk past the 80-feet road and on your first right turn the moment you're in the ST Bed layout.
We tried to drop by at this deli that opened just last month, but everytime we happened to walk by, it was shut. Guess it had its initial teething issues, but now the cafe, set up by a young couple, is back on track.

Lynne, a petite young lass has given up her flight attendant career to whip up fresh omelets and pancakes, takes orders and serves the grub with care assisted by her young husband who works with Microsoft.
Considering it's mainly a breakfast place, we dropped by at 10 am and placed our order of omelets The Complete Veggie Affair (Rs 50) with the option of picking three veggies from jalapeno, mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes and coriander or cheddar cheese, the other was The Complete Meaty Experience (Rs 75) with choice of meats from Smoked Bacon, Salami or Ham and Sausage.
The flavours of the add-ons in the omelet were subtle and we gobbled it down with toast and butter on the side.
Sadly they didn't have any wheat bread options, so we settled for the white.
You can also start your day off with a bang over plates of bangers (sausages), bacon, baked beans, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, fried egg and fresh toast in the All English Breakfast (Rs 150).
A few new dishes on the menu have been introduced from this week onwards with interesting names like Two Birds with one Stone (two fried eggs on freshly toasted bread), Just Beat It (cheesy eggs piled on toast), The Hangover Remedy (two fried eggs cooked in chilli oil), The Great White (two egg whites with sauteed spinach and fresh toast) and the likes.
We were recommended a plate of Waffles (Rs 60) that came with two pieces, so we shared a plate. Smeared with maple syrup, these waffles were sweet and filling. A Banana Smoothie (Rs 30) and we rounded it up raring to take on the long day at work.
The cafe has only four tables, but if they get bigger groups they get extra chairs and place them on the little passage outside. Saturdays and Sundays are packed at this place with techies hanging around over a lazy, leisurely brunch in their pyjamas.
But, that's the best part of this cafe. The easy going air lets you sip on your coffee with an I-give-a-damn attitude and with the pleasant nip in the air these days; it seems an ideal place to break your fast.

They are open for lunch and an early evening bite, but with not much variation on the menu. The only options you will get are many variations of sandwiches, pastas and burgers.
What's hot: A cozy homely feel to the cafe. Cool posters on the cafe's soft board that read 'This isn't burger king. U don't get it your way. U take it my way or don't get the damn thing. Notice - we gaurantee fast service no matter how long it takes.'
What's not: A single page menu in an equally small cafe.
At: Hole in the Wall Cafe, Koramangala 4th Block, ST Bed Layout, Bangalore.
Call: 99005 17582
Meal for two: Rs 300
Hole in the Wall Cafe didn't know we were there. The Guide reviews anonymously and pays for meals.
