Rakesh Kumar recounts 'attacks' by colleagues and learns valuable lessons during an offsite event
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. But when Jack's work itself is all about fun and play, then what do you say?
The fact that Prithvi and I were present there was itself uncontrollably maddening for all our colleagues.
Imagine, if we had unleashed our charm on them. We would have had to open a mini asylum there. (God! At times we just cannot handle so many fans. And that too from our own office.)
Sumptuous meals, adventurous games and injured bodies were the highlights of our team's offsite at Talakaadu.

If I were to talk about those eye openers and injured bodies, I can fill this entire edition of MiD DAY.
Some things are best left unsaid. Like how Prithvi's arm pits, at the end of the day, can, not just choke you but also put you into a temporary state of unconsciousness. And take this as a lesson from me: Never allow the movement of any unusually heavy or massive body around you while playing a sport. Or else, will break something of your own. Like I did! My leg!
When a threatening combination of flesh, blood and mass RadioOne's sound engineer Rajesh crashed on my leg, I was left breathless, devastated and disabled. I literally felt the tremors shake my system to the core. So much so, I am still looking at the awkward movements of my leg, as I write this column.
Play at pleasure, but choose to have bodies around you by measure. That is inspired from the brand new, already famous segment on our show: Bengalooru Fatafat called Fatafat Line Maaro. Tune in to catch the show every morning at 8 am only on 94.3 RadioOne.
