Hide (20), the Swede who performed, is in India on a cultural exchange programme. She learnt the art in 48 hours and performed for the launch event of the movie at KSLTA stadium, which the dancers came to know was also the first shot of movie.

"I'm thrilled," Hide said. "It is a fascinating art. I learned the art as I loved it, and now I have got an opportunity to perform."

Hide is a high school passout from Karlskrona, Sweden.u00a0 "Hide is the first Sweden citizen to perform for a Kannada flick," said Sarvana Dhanpal, founder, Agni, and a fire dancer. "She was with us and wished to learn the art. We taught and unexpectedly we were called to perform in the evening to here mark the launch of the venture. That's how she has become part of the movie."
