Tease, the new lounge bar, is the sort of place where you would like to hang out with your girl. Located right next to the Tech Park, you are bound to spot techies on weekdays and party dudes on weekends. This is a welcome addition far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.u00a0
u00a0The du00c3u00a9cor inside is based on Moroccan architecture and the lighting is quite subdued with thankfully no neon or fluorescent lights. We loved the glazed-golden tiled pillars. The seating is comfy with low sofas, so the waiters bend on their knees to take your orders. But the biggest USP of this bar is the wide outdoor garden.
For smokers, this is just the place. You could also carry your drinks and sip them under a romantic twilight sky.
Awesome twosome or some private cliques, you are sure to lounge in style. With soft pop and rock flowing through the bar, your mood will be highlighted to order your favourite drink.
The small section of water body flowing bang in the middle of the bar is calming and beckons you to even step in and step out of it. Or rather dip your feet in, while you unwind over your mojito. Quite classy, we say, but take caution from slipping in after a couple of drinks.u00a0
Primarily a vodka bar, they have a wide variety to suit your wallet to as high as Rs 5,500. Their specialty though is their cocktails. The signature cocktail is Flirt, a vodka-based cocktail (Rs 350), with orange peels and ice floating in the glass, is a bit bitter at first sip, but then the taste comes alive and kicking. Beer served in a 700 ml mug is certainly a cooler.u00a0
u00a0And if you happen to have an impromptu group meet up for a drink, the On-the-Table-Draft Keg (Rs 3,500 which serves 5 with 1 litre of beer each) is what you must order.u00a0
u00a0Though some might like to just nibble on a few peanuts, many might like their appetizers well-plated. The menu has a small section towards the end for starters like chilli lime fried calamari, cheese and coconut crusted prawns (both at Rs 495) and a few such.
The Downside No main course on the menu and though quite appeasing to the palate; these hors d'oeuvres come in small sizes.
