Telgi falls ill, taken to hospital

Fake stamp paper kingpin Abdul Kareem Telgi has been admitted to Victoria hospital owing to illness on Wednesday.

According to the prison authorities Telgi developed some health complications and was admitted to the hospital's jail ward. The doctor diagnosed high sugar level and mild fever.

Telgi has been kept in the ward under observation and for further tests. His advocate said that Telgi was not keeping well for sometime since his diet was "not upto the mark".

Earlier the court had rejected the advocate'su00a0 plea to get Telgi home-cooked food for his health complications.

The advocate now plans to move court with a fresh application citing Telgi's current ill health.
