MJ Rakesh shares the revelations of an offsite trip and the new format of the morning showCAN you guess the line, which acts as a true source of inspiration for most of us to take a break or time off from work? I guess it is All work and no play, makes jack a dull boy.
But there is nothing much one can do, if some jacks are intrinsically dull. At least in this regard, my sympathies will always be with Prithvi. I only hope, one day, he will overcome this impediment of being naturally dull.
But this Sunday, which just went by, had both Prithvi and I nurture every sentiment in that line.

The MiD-DAY and RadioOne Team at Jigani recently |
Off we went for a little holiday with mates from work and for once we did not do something that we always do together: Work! Going bananas and cracking up was the order of the day.
A sprawling club resort on the outskirts of Bengalooru is where we camped. And as we did that, a lot of harsh realities hit our faces. To name a few:
1) Prithvi cannot play cricket for nuts
2) Anjaan is naturally talented at the card game BLUFF
3)u00a0 Shilpa can go on a rage if her chicken is not cooked properly.
4) Pavitra can attack anyone, anytime, anywhere.
5) And me! I laugh for nothing like a retard, aimlessly and endlessly.
Just when we thought one full day's madness had puffed in and we are done, Prithvi began his antics. His attempt to speak Hindi can get anybody roll on the floor with laughter.
He suddenly became our master blaster of entertainment and started commenting about everybody in his dilapidated, adulterated literature Hindi with me being his sidekick. You can also catch snippets of this on our show every morning between 7 and 11 on 94.3 RadioOne.
So here we are, completely recharged, refreshed and revived just like our brand new station format: Har Din Har Gaane Sirf Ek Baar, Aur Tera Alag Gaane Every Hour. Tune in anytime this week and if you spot us repeating any song (which we intentionally will); you stand a chance to win Rs 2,500 cash.
Prithvi and I always fancy our chances on this one by calling and messaging other Music Jockeys on their show. But it's unfortunate that we are bad actors. We always get caught.
