RJ Prithvi tells of how RadioOne gets ready to welcome the Kaminays to townKutthe Kaminay... Mein tera khoon pee jaaoonga...No, this is not how I usually want to reprimand my producer Rakesh, unless I am in a good mood(It could get worse). For now, forget the 'Kutthe' and 'Khoon' and let's zero in on 'KAMINAY,' the much-awaited movie starring Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor. Against all the efforts and precautions taken by director Vishal Bharadwaj, the movie received an 'A' certification.u00a0 So neither Shahid nor Priyanka are happy with the censor board... "As there are no expletives in the language used in the movie, no violence...when Ghajini got away without an 'A' certification, it's unfair that Kaminay landed up getting one" they argue.
But it just does not seem to bother us or our ardent listeners because you do not need any certification to meet the stars in flesh and blood!
Yup! Shahid and Priyanka are dropping by the studios tomorrow to promote their movie Kaminay. Rakesh and I, as always, ran a wacky contest this morning on my show called 'Kamino Ka King' where we were looking out for Bengalooru's five biggest Kaminays who could prove the same. And indeed five people proved themselves to be the biggest Kaminays. So we decided to give those Kaminays (wink! I am calling them Kaminays only because I am under the impression that the reader is above 18 years of age 'A' certificate) a chance to meet Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra (slurp!) in person tomorrow at RadioOne studio.
While the preparations are on full throttle to meet the starsu2026Rakesh has decided to get himself a nice haircut (unlike the snap), pleasant clothing, a bath and lots of deodorantsu2026 I am doing the same, except for the hair cut (I am any barber's biggest challenge).
Watch out for this space for more...The Kaminay sequel coming soonu2026 (Bad guess, it's not Rakesh).
