Apart from the Fat Boy that is on display at the 10th Auto Expo at Pragati Maidan, the company has brought 12 motorcycles from its 2010 model portfolio for sale in India, including Sportster, Dyna, VRSC, Softail and Touring.
And bike-lovers vouch the models have affordable price tags. "The Harley-Davidson motorcycles are being imported to India as completely built units and will be priced between Rs 6,95,000 and Rs 34,95,000 ex-showroom (New Delhi). "We have worked hard to give every enthusiast an opportunity to realise their dream of joining the global Harley-Davidson family. We have a wide range of products suiting various budgets," said Anoop Prakash, managing director of Harley Davidson India. Bookings for Harley-Davidson motorcycles will begin in April in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh. Delivery will be in June.
Meanwhile, Yamaha Motors is showcasing the 2010 version of YZF-R1 and has also launched the Limited Edition white YZF-R15. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India too has unveiled six new models including its global superbike VSR 1200F.
