From israel, with love
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Consulate General of Israel have got down Israeli Psych Pop quartetu00a0 Rockfour, one of the most influential bands in Israel. Formed in the Tel Aviv suburb of Holon, they began playing together during military service, and developed a repertoire of original songs in Hebrew and English.

An ODE The Mangeshkars
It's difficult to imagine a world without the Mangeshkar clan in it ufffd it would be a far less musical one, far less happy. Celebrating the 73rd birthday of legendary music composer Hridayanath Mangeshkar, Hridayesh Arts (which is celebrating its 21st anniversary) is organising a two-day classical music fest featuring sitar and zitar maestro Niladri Kumar, vocalist Rashid Khan and sarod exponent Amjad Ali Khan. Tomorrow's programme will see the composer himself present a programme entitled Didi Aur Mein.
