The former decided to ask for a review, prompting Sujata Anandan to tweet: ‘What a bad loser this Subramanian Swamy is!' Suresh En, on the other hand, had this to say: ‘Admiration for the Lone Crusader. He has given us a lot to cheer. All power to you, Sir.' There was this tweet from a certain Bankrupt GreekGod: ‘Swamy's reaction reminds me of my reaction to 12th board results. Surely, examiner overlooked my argument.' And from Suryanarayan Ganesh: ‘In 2010, BJP blocked Chidu in Lok Sabha on 2G scam, today Supreme Court kicked Subramanian Swamy. Now BJP blocks Jaiswal on coal. Same story.'

Also clogging timelines was Kapil Sibal after reportedly saying he had told the media a long time ago that Chidambaram was innocent. Deepak Singh's reaction was this: ‘Congress should field Manish Tiwari, Digvijay Singh and Kapil Sibal as their spokespersons until the next elections, to ensure an opposition win.' Ignitedmind added: ‘What Sibal and Jaiswal want to say is the CAG is poor in maths and they need to attend coaching classes at 10 Janpath.' The Twitter account of Milind Deora, minister of state for communications and information technology, was reportedly suspended. Ramesh Srivats tweeted: ‘It's like the Home Minister losing his house key.' Someone using the handle IndiaSpeaksPR added: ‘Apparently, the tweets were too articulate for a cabinet minister.'
