Two more drag-racers, indulging in dare-devilry on Bellary Road and planning to go all the way up to Nandi Hills, were arrested yesterday


Two more drag-racers, indulging in dare-devilry on Bellary Road and planning to go all the way up to Nandi Hills, were arrested yesterday.

Traffic police stopped five racers on Bellary Road at around 3 am on Monday. They managed to arrest two Sudanese students identified as Mohammed Tahir (20) and Yahya Mohammed (20), first year BCA students of Mehra's Institute of Management in Horamavu.

Police have identified the other three who escaped and say they will be arrested soon.

They also interrogated the arrested students to find out if they were under the influence of drugs or liquor and sent them for medical tests.

They have booked criminal cases against them and produced them before the court.

In addition, three more vehicles were seized in Shivajinagar and K R Puram police station limits.
