The accused had brought the victim from Mumbai on the pretext of giving her a job
Delhi police arrested two persons for raping a Mumbai-based girl in Nizamuddin area of south-east Delhi on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Gopi and Raju, residents of Pune. "They brought her to Delhi from Mumbai on the pretext of giving her a job and then raped her in a guesthouse," said a senior police officer.
Police said the girl made a PCR call from the guesthouse itself. "We rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed the rape. We have arrested the accused, who were trying to flee from Delhi," he added.
