At least two terrorists were killed on Thursday in a gun battle with security forces in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Doda Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Singh said by phone that security forces raided a hideout of the militants in jungles near Doda, about 180 km from here.
"After a gun battle, a joint team of the Rashtriya Rifles and police killed two militants. Both the militants belonged to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen," Singh said.
The two militants have been identified as Mohammad Rafi and Qasim Din.

"They were involved in cases of extortion and rape," Singh said.
