Union Minister threatened a Dalit, alleges Congress

Congress yesterday raised in Lok Sabha the issue of a Union Minister allegedly threatening a Dalit in Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, recently with dire consequences if he failed to withdraw a court case.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Rajiv Satav said neither the minister concerned, nor the government has so far responded in the matter despite several reports.

While Satav did not name anyone, reports suggest Union Minister Maneka Gandhi was the one who had allegedly issued the threat.
