The owner of a multiplex was allegedly beaten up today by a group of activists opposing the screening of controversial movie 'Padmaavat', police said.
The activists thrashed Sanjay Agarwal, owner of the SCM multiplex where the film was being screened, they said.
They protesters also damaged his BMW car and abused him for screening the movie, police officials said.
