Investigating officeru00a0 Dnyanoba Mahankar of the Warje police station said the accident could have been avoided if the driver had used an overbridge in the vicinity.
"Many drivers do not use the overbridge that connects Kothrud to the highway, leading to severe traffic
problems. If drivers use the overbridge, then these road accidents can be avoided," Mahankar said. "We have filed a case against an unknown driver for rash and negligent driving."
