Civil Judge of Tis Hazari Court Ajay Pandey paid a visit as well. And after 2 and a half month of his protest against black money and after his eviction from Ramlila Ground, Yog guru Baba Ramdev was back at the venue. While addressing the crowd at Ramlila Ground he said that the logjam should end soon. "Some people have betrayed the country and we have to fight against them. The wrongs committed in the last 64 years have to be corrected. We have to change this system," said Ramdev.

Actor Raghuvir Yadav and stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava were there to entertain the crowds. Delhi Mayor Rajni Abbi on Wednesday also went to Ramlila Maidan but had to return after five minutes. Meanwhile, traders in Delhi have called for a day-long bandh in the national capital on Thursday to express solidarity with fasting Hazare. The leader of Delhi Traders Association announced this at Ramlila Ground. All shops and markets will be closed on Thursday, he claimed.

Protest at PM's door
Several protesters demonstrated in support of anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare in front of the Prime Minister's 7, Race Course Road (RCR) residence on Wednesday. After carefully planning and coordinating the use of the Facebook page of India Against Corruption - the organisers of the agitation at Ramlila Ground, demanding a strong Jan Lokpal Bill - people started reaching the venue in small groups and kept waiting around to draw police attention. Just as the first vehicles started coming in for the all-party meeting at 3.30pm, more than 25 protesters quickly grouped up on the footpath right opposite the Prime Minister's residence, in full view of the media. Shouting slogans supporting Hazare and demanding quick passage of the Jan Lokpal bill, protesters then sat down and started singing bhajans. Meanwhile, police rushed in and tried to prevent the demonstrators from affecting the flow of traffic on Kamal Ataturk Marg. Minutes later, more police force arrived in a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus and demonstrators were forcibly packed off in the bus and taken to Chanakyapuri police station. About 150 were detained, but released later.
