In one more case of medical apathy, a woman delivered a baby on a horse cart in Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, the woman had come for delivery at the CHC hospital in Mirgunj. But, due to alleged negligence on the part of the hospital, relatives of the pregnant woman had to do the delivery outside the hospital gate.

The doctors apparently were watching even as the woman gave birth.
