Firing in air for fun at marriage injures three at Narela
In another case of wedding celebrations gone awry, three boys were injured in accidental firing during a pre-marriage ritual at Narela in outer Delhi on Saturday.

The incident took place when a relative of the groom, identified as Ramesh Kumar, fired two shots in the air.
However, he could not control the force of his double barrel gun and ended up firing at three people in the crowd.
According to the police, the incident took place in the Shahpur village of Narela at the wedding of one Rinku Kumar. Rinku's cousin Ramesh Kumar was carrying a double barrel gun. He tried to fire the gun in air to celebrate. However, the bullets hit the victims, Mukesh and Varun and one more youngster, who the cops said, could not be identified.
Mukesh and Varun received bullet injuries on their neck and shoulder while the third boy was hit in the abdomen and is in a serious state at the Jaipur Golden Hospital.
"We have registered a case are investigating it. We are also checking if the gun used by the accused was licensed or illegal. Till now it seems it was a case of accidental firing," said Atul Katiyar, deputy commissioner of police (Outer district).
This is the second such incident of accidental firing at a wedding in Narela. On November 19, Urmila Khatri, 40, was shot dead as she watched a wedding. The bullets were fired by a friend of the groom to celebrate.
