Find out at Marut Sikka's latest offering Keya, a new bar space in south DelhiDirty dancing, sultry bar girls and strippers, if fantasies like these are making rounds of your mind; perhaps, you've booked a seat on a flight to Las Vegas. However, if your flight of fantasy hovers over eloquence, Keya is the place to land on weekends and weekdays too. We recently visited the new address of high spirits, and came out satisfied.
The chocolaty theme welcomes youAndar ki baat haiIt's not only about food and drinks when you go out to 'wine and dine'. Especially when you're at a lounge, you expect an atmosphere that helps you interact and get personal over wine and cheese with fellow diners. Keya is one such host because it is a wise blend of finger-licking food items, never-heard cocktails and glossy deck up.u00a0 You can either choose to sit on the comfy seats or stand near the central bar area or the open space. The moment you enter this lounge, the chocolaty theme, dark yet flashy, instantly makes you roll up your sleeves, ask for the liquor menu and start the session of 'lost minds'.
So where do you start? From affordable, expensive to super expensive, the bar racks here are decorated with all the labels. Since this bar comes from one of the most celebrated Indian chef Marut Sikka, we would advise you to try Marut's line of specially created cocktails for Keya. If you still chew gums for hours, you would love to sip on the bubblegum flavored bubblicious daiquiri. Else, you can go desi with an aam panna cocktail, narial brandy and cucumber caprioska. They don't just taste good but also send a cool sensation down the throat. Their paan vodka cocktail looks innovative and tastes inventive too. A must try, we say.
Prey on Primarily, Keya is a place to gulp down sparkling drinks, but they serve real good multi-cuisine starters. Few of the available options are veg and non veg pizza with sun dried tomato, chicken steak, lamb steak, New Zealand lamb chops, tandoor grilled paneer supremes and chicken tikka. All in all, an evening here is worth every penny and swipe (in case you're using plastic money).
