Akvarious Productions' Rafta Rafta and All About Men
The second week of January will see the premiere of Rafta Rafta directed by Tahira Nath and Akarsh Khurana. The plot revolves around a newly-wed man who prefers spending time on the Internet than with his bride because he is woefully inhibited by the proximity of his parents and his brother's childish pranks.
Six weeks later, the family starts to panic. Written by Ayub Khan-Din (better known as the writer of East is East), the play is a warm-hearted, comic tale of close-knit Indian families living abroad.
In February, director Hidaayat Sami follows up the success of All About Women with a fitting second play, All About Men by Miro Gavran.u00a0
