Chaat and art
The comprehensive fair for children of every age group has scheduled a wide range of colourful, learning-oriented fun activities. There will be workshops on theatre and performing arts, which will be followed by a participants' performance.

If all this sounds way too done to death, there're freer forms to stick to. Kite-flying sessions, for instance. Your brat will be trained in the age-old art and also told stories of ancient Indian history in the course. "We want to encourage participants to take up physical activity, which is fast disappearing. Such activities enhance their skills and aptitude. In its third edition, we want to encourage fun without much money involved. That's why we have a very limited number of tea, chaat and bookstalls," explains Prof Mridula Mukherjee, director of Teen Murti Bhawan. At the start of the event, kids will be divided into groups, according to which they'll be participating in the activities. Post lunch, they'll make presentations about everythingu00a0 they have done.

A total number of 35 activities have been slotted for the event, including poster-making, storytelling, creative writing, charkha spinning, walks, treasure hunts and workshops. To encourage students to read meaningful, relevant literature, a book fair, too, is on the cards. The museum's library for children will also be inaugurated during the do.
