A 28-year-old woman was arrested for murdering her mother-in-law in south Delhi's Hauz Khas area, police said.
According to police, Poonam Rani murdered her mother-in-law after a quarrel.
"She stated that her mother-in-law (Sarwan Devi) scolded her on petty issues and was pressurising her to do a BEd course. On that fateful night she had some serious altercations and differences with her mother-in-law over this as Poonam was not interested in pursuing this course," South Dist DCP, HGS Dhaliwal said.
"The weapon of offence and blood-stained clothes have been recovered from her possession," Dhaliwal added.
