What it's about: The film is a fun take on the tale of four guys who are staying as paying guests and what they have to do in order to bag the place on rent. In quest for staying as a PG, Ashish and Vatsal pretend to be married to Shreyas and Javed who are forced to be dressed up as women. Celina plays a second-generation Punjabi girl born and brought up in Thailand and neice to the owner (Johny Lever) of the house, who falls in love with Shreyas. Shreyas is quite a pretty sight dressed in saris with bindi, jewellery, long hair et al and Javed in a blonde wig and contemporary outfits towers over his husband. The foursome romance around with the four girls Shreyas with Celina, Javed with Sayali, Ashish with Neha and Vatsal with Riya as Shreyas and Javed juggle between putting the garb of a woman. Yes, we seen that soooo many times in Hindi cinema with Rishi Kapoor, Aamir Khan and many others, that it's definitely not novel and exciting anymore. Post interval the horde of characters are simply playing around the fool and it just gets too much to handle.u00a0
What's hot: A handful of one liners and a good take on how painful it is to get a good place to stay in for a paying guest.
What's not: Dressing up in school uniforms, dancing in the streets of Bangkok and Javed Jaffrey's big bosom.
Verdict: Apart from a few side-splitting events, the film is quite trashy. But even whilst there are no other new hindi film releases this week, paying for this Paying Guest still might seem like a pain on the pocket.
