This is not all. To make sure that the cause gets maximum attention, YMCA, along with 24 Delhi-based bikers, will drive 900 km to reach Jaisalmer via Jaipur, Ajmer and Bikaner. The rally will be flagged off by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday morning.
Talking about the growing problem of global warming, Arnold James from the program committee of YMCA said, "Our new generation needs to know about this and address the issue. We are trying to reach to maximum number of young people by visiting schools and educating students about it."
"The bikers will cover 900 km and visit various schools, colleges and institutions, educating the students about the reasons behind global warming and measures to control it," said Sebastian K O, program officer, YMCA.
