It seems ironic. The same Delhi Police that forcibly evicted Baba Ramdev and his followers from Ramlila Maidan, will now organise yoga classes for its personnel on July 19, 6.30-7.30 am, in collaboration with the Dhyan Foundation.

It seems ironic. The same Delhi Police that forcibly evicted Baba Ramdev and his followers from Ramlila Maidan, will now organise yoga classes for its personnel on July 19, 6.30-7.30 am, in collaboration with the Dhyan Foundation.

Seven police personnel from each station will attend these camps, which will be held at Lotus Temple garden and Humayun Tomb lawn.

Relax!
"The idea behind organising the camp is to reduce the mental stress and enable the police personnel to cope up with the work pressure.

Of late, there have been instances of depression, increasing cases of illness and so on. The Yoga session will aim at improving life style and address mind and spirit of the police personnel," said BK Gupta, Commissioner of Delhi Police.

"Usually, we got complaints that our police officers have long working hours and they were under huge stress. This Yoga camp will help them release stress with the help of meditation," said Ajay Chaudhary, Additional Commissioner of Police, South East District.
