India's answer to the hot 'n' wild Pirelli calendar, the Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar is back. But this time, there's much more to the visual treat than just 12 months of style, skin and sass. The calendar will be unveiled at the Emporio mall in Vasant Kunj on Sunday. And to celebrate the launch, iconic pieces by fashion biggiesu00a0Moschino, Diane von Fu00c3u00bcrstenberg, StellaMc Cartney, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alberta Ferretiu00a0will be put on show.

Organised by TSG International, the signature creations are open for public viewing. Priya Sachdev Chatwal, co-founder and creative director, TSG International tells, "We will be displaying numbers from those brands who have supplied beachwear for this year's calendar. These pieces are the reflection of what these brand stand for, that is, elegance and opulence ."

>> 'Bra'ndishing high!

The conical bra designed by fashion guru Jean-Paul Gaultier was flaunted by the pop diva in her 1990 Blonde Ambition World tour. The famous piece of French fashion brought out the corset with a new meaning and aesthetics that was socially accepted. From being a symbol of women's oppression, the corset soon became a representation of sexual empowerment.
