According to police, the accused, identified as Aziz Mohammed, 22, is a resident of Tonk district.
"The girl lodged a first information report (FIR) with police saying that she and Aziz had gone to watch a movie at a cinema hall near Malpura Gate area in the city Sunday evening," said Sanganer police station in-charge Subodh Sharma.
The officer said that the youth showed an MMS to the girl while watching the movie.
"It showed her in a compromising position. Aziz then forced her to come to the rooftop of the cinema hall and raped her there," said the officer.
Aziz was arrested from his rented accommodation in the city, he added.
