As campaigning for the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections ended in Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary voiced confidence that the BJP will win all 40 seats in the state, assuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi's return to power.
Samrat Choudhary claimed, "Lalu Prasad Yadav accomplished nothing in 15 years, which is why the BJP has continually fought his corruption. With the campaign done, the people of Bihar are ready to award Prime Minister Modi all 40 seats. The results on June 4 will see Narendra Modi reelected Prime Minister." He also accused the RJD of circulating incorrect information on reservations, reported ANI.
"RJD's primary approach is to generate stories about reservation cancellations. They utilised the same issue in the 2015 elections, but the concerns were not erased. Lalu Yadav should clarify when he awarded reservations and identify any groups who benefited. He opposes the poor and reserves. Reservations imply just one thing to him: his family holds power. This party represents hooliganism. He planned how to extort money while in the CM's house, and he is attempting to do so again," Choudhary claimed per the news agency report.
Previously, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of having a backward and anti-Dalit mindset.

"When we came to power in Bihar, we conducted a caste survey at the state's expense. You were also made aware of its reality. Prime Minister, in light of that survey, we increased the scope of the reservation to 75 per cent and kept requesting you again and again and with folded hands, demanded that you include it in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution. But Prime Minister, basically, you have a backward and anti-Dalit mentality. You did not give any consideration to this important request of ours," he stated.
Reportedly, elections in Bihar are held in seven phases. Bihar has 40 Lok Sabha seats, the fourth most among all states and union territories, and plays an important role in influencing Indian politics. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA (BJP, Janata Dal-United, and Lok Janshakti Party) won 39 of 40 seats.
