A 15-year-old leopard died due to multiple organ failure in Aurangabad's Siddharth Zoo, a civic official said.
The leopard named as 'Raja', was brought to Aurangabad zoo from Hemalkasa in Gadchiroli and lived at the zoo for seven years.
He died on Wednesday night, the civic official informed.
"The leopard was being treated by Dr Neeti Singh. It did not respond to medication and died. The post mortem report cited multiple organ failure as cause of death. Its blood samples have been sent for further investigation," the official said.
