A massive fire broke out near a petrol pump in Sector 37 of Noida last night. As per the latest information, the fire has been doused and no casualties have been reported. The reason for the fire is yet to be determined. Speaking with ANI, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Manish Mishra asserted that the fire is under control.
"In sector 37, a fire was reported near a petrol pump at around 10:00 pm. The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) and their team reached here immediately and around 10 fire tenders were also called in... The fire is now under control. The reason for the fire is being determined. There have not been any injuries in the incident," the ADCP said. Meanwhile, Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar took to its official X handle and posted a video of the CFO giving details of the fire.
In the video post, the CFO said, "The fire service unit received information that a fire had erupted near the petrol pump in Noida sector 37. Taking immediate action, we sent 10 fire tenders and after efforts of around 1.5 hours, the fire was controlled... A good thing is that there is no injury. We are trying to know the reasons behind the fire incident."
